Chronic pain can be the trigger that throws off everything else, but if you can get your pain under control, that will likely help all of your other symptoms as well. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia about three years ago and have found pretty good pain relief from OTC meds and homeopathic remedies. I take 800 mg. of Aleve and a 1000-mg. flaxseed oil capsule every night at bedtime and take tablets of Arnica, a homeopathic herb, as needed for fibro flareups. The links below should be helpful. Hang in there and please let us know what works for you.

Might be as simple as the following. Profuse sweating is a side effect of chronic pain. It's simply how our bodies fight the traumatic feeling. Also adding to that might be the medication you are taking for it. Are you on Duragesic or any other narcotics? These can cause profuse sweating in some cases.
Unfortunately, that is something people with chronic pain have to suffer with as there isn't anything out there I know of that combats that problem.
God Bless and thanks for reading.

You may want to go on HRT 's and see if that helps. I've also heard that Botox has been used for people with profuse sweating conditions. I'd consult with your doctor about both these option and see whats right for you. Good luck.
