Interesting question because I can't make heads or tails of it. I'll take a shot at answering: The things that ultimately hinge on concepts of matter and mind is the five senses we are born with.

you could go to the ancient Greeks for a start...

[nearly] all of western thought hinges on the rubrics established by Greek thought....either their writings or later authors' efforts to renounce, rectify, deny, expand, adapt...etc etc etc...

their works and subsequent influence has been incorporated into our political, philosophical,and religious thought...

mind with matter...matter with mind.....inseperable in humans

There is nothing doubt in this. Whole universe can be divided as matter and mind. These two are complements to each other and both are infinite in their size.

In Saiva Sidhthaantha, this concept is mentioned as 'Andam' and 'Pindam'. 'Andam' refers to whatever is outside of our body and 'Pindam' refers to whatever is inside our body.
