Symantec Coroprate Edition works great, better than the rest. The best feature is that, it does't slow ur pc down like Norton. Always remember Corporate editions are better that the rest.

Just regular norton will work fine for you, unless you are running a business and want to keep an eye on other machines, but for home use Norton Antivirus is fine.

Neither: try AVG anti-virus. Their personal use FREE edition alone is good enough protection; the registered version of their business protection software is highly impressive.
And AVG updates are free: let Symantec, Norton or McAfee try to say that.

At this time, there are instabilities in all of those. TrendMicro Enterprise Edition is the best. It is very expensive. You can get TrendMicro's Home Edition for just a bit more than Norton. It is excellent!

"The most popular brands of antivirus on the market (Norton, mcafee Trend etc)… have an 80 percent miss rate… malware authors are specifically testing their Trojans and viruses to make sure they can bypass these applications before releasing them in the wild"

Hey all suck, no offense. They have a record of causing all sorts of trouble on the computer and hogs the computer resources so it slows down..
Get Kaspersky Anti Virus its been ranked up there in alot of tests...
AVG/Avast is good
ZoneAlarm Free for FireWall
