You work your brains off to get Bs and As and you succeed at that,, you're on probation and last chance if you fail, you're done for good(at this college) you have to go home every weekend to babysit your neice(you get paid 200-400 bucks every month) because you're brother's too lazy to take care of her, so your mom takes care of her during the week but has another job during the weekend.

How do you go about your week and weekends to be prepared for tests and stuff?

Suggestions?

take advantage of time you have during the week. try to study in your school library or between classes. I find that it is easier to focus on my work if i do most of it at school because there aren't that many distractions.

Set her up a schedule that she does everyday so she will know what is to be expected of her at what time then study accordingly based on what she is doing. For example if it is nap time at noon then put her to sleep and study or if it is nights that you sit then put her to bed a little earlier or put in her favorite movie while yo go to another part of the room where you can still supervise her and study.Let your mom in on the plan of what you are trying to do. I'm sure she will understand and fall in line with you. Online classes mixed with regular classed could work also

Whiner! Sack up and organize your time and efforts. If you're smart enough to be in a real college, and you're not there on a sports scholarship, then you can figure out how to do this.

I worked my way through college. It sucked. I did it anyway because I wanted the education more than a party every night. Sack up and getter dun!

Good luck.

Make sure you study a lot during the week. Don't go out partying - set aside specific study times.

Talk with your mom about your needs and see if she can make other arrangements for your niece. Or, take your books with you and study while you baby sit.

I've been through this with a two and a four year old!!

You need to occupy the kids or wear them out enough for them to take a nap. Use that time to study. When they wake up, rinse and repeat.

Change your life. Honestly.

The online courses offered by colleges and community colleges are excellent and, if you've the discipline, you can get your education at home.

Your brother? You can't allow him to be a problem in your life.

Work hard. Attend the class regularly. Be serious inside the class. Try to have more practical exercises.

You tell your brother that you are in college and he needs to grow up.
