There are lots of career counselors available. There are some at your high school or your college. Go to them and ask questions. There is testing available that tests your interests and abilities. You need to take one. Your first year in college can be a year where you take the basics. So, you have a year to think about it.
If you still don't know what direction, go for a liberal arts degree. I think it can apply to just about anything. But, I would definitely talk to a career counselor at your local college in the admissions department. Ask about the Meyers-Briggs exam for career decisions. It is probably one of the most important things in life that you will ever do. Good luck.

Few people know what to study when they first enter college. Take a general studies curriculum or liberal arts courses and as many different subjects as you can to see where your interests are. You have plenty of time to decide on a major. You are stressing for no reason.

try talking to a career counselor at a college you have applied and been accepted to. They should be able to take a personality assesment test and find out what your best fit would be.
