Try- School is a training ground for life . Dress codes exist in all Employment situations but some individuality is appreciate. Students need to make choices and be evaluated on those choices . Any one can conform to a uniform but a mature person has learned to balance Work life with Casual life and know when and where to present each personae. The military an d sports teams and the like use uniforms to build a team identity. Students need to be individuals. Good Luck

To win a debate, first write a sheet arguing why they should have school uniforms. With that you will be able to debate against it, knowing what your opponet is going to come up with. Also from that you will be able to see the other side and form your debate answers from that. If you see why they should have them, you can find a reason off of that for them not to...

Our country was founded on the idea that people should be free to choose. Our constitution protects these values (i.e. the First Amendment). Shouldn't we be teaching our children these values?
Look what happens when people are made to wear "uniforms." (slavery, oppression, the Holocaust?)
