I trust the people who understand that Bush has created an atmosphere which is making more people hate the U.S.

I trust the people who try to make their government more transparent.

I trust those who understand that the U.S. is one of many countries, who have a broader understanding of their country than those who just rant about the U.S. being number 1. Those who are interested in traveling, learning languages, exchange with other nationalities.

I trust those who think for themselves, who are open to all opinions and who negotiate issues exaustively and carefully while keeping in mind the consideration of all others. The question should be rephrased to include those beyond America's boarders and tells of the questioner's short-sightedness.
