I've rapelled out of a lot of helicopters, but never had the chance to parachute....always wanted to. Have you? When? Where? School you would recommend?

I'm looking specifically for civillian schools that I can attend that you would recommend based on personal experience. Thank you.

i've got 43 jumps under my belt, you dont want to do it the way i did, loaded with 150 pounds of combat equipment. Jumping at 800 AGL. I've never done it for fun. I spent half of my 8 years in the army as part of the 82nd Airborne Division at Ft. Bragg, NC.
If you do it the way i did. they train you for free then pay you 150 dollars extra a month to be on jump status. or you can pay 500-1000 dollars learning how and end up only doing it once or twice.

I want to, I have rappelled before, did a 250 foot free fall but never got to go out of a helicopter, but have wanted to, but will go parachuting one of these days, and I think that I want to bungee jump as well...

I did 3 static-line jumps about 6 years ago. It wasn't a school...it was more or so just a training class in North Dakota. It definetly is an adrenaline rush and if your trained properly you'll be safe.
