India is better for investment... China has a very "ours first" policy when it comes to foreign investment, it will be difficult to expand, it will be difficult to get in, it will be difficult to compete... seeing as they are communist and all.

Go for India.

either way, India is emerging as the world's largest economy... china has stagnated and is expected to stop growing next decade.

Economics at work, people.

If you are an Indian, India is very good place to invest. But, for foreigners, unless Indian investment policy is refined, it won't be a very good place to invest, when compared to China.

Because, our political parties are not concerned about countries growth. If Congress approves a project, BJP objects it for no reason. Likewise, if BJP approves a investment, Congress or Communist reject it. How a foreign company can trust India, when they are not sure about their survial, once the opposition becomes ruling party.

We have to give some sort of security for the foreign investors. They should not suffer because of our dirty politics.

They're both going to be good places to invest in, but you'd just be earning money off of other people's exploitation. In 10 years, China and India are going to have the worst wages and enviromental records of any country because of industrialization. God Help Us All!

I guess India in terms of ease to invest and operate. China regulations (finance/tax/import/export) are very rigid and sometimes too complexed for an international business to operate
