Wow, you people are out of the loop. They're well past Hellraiser 4....
Part 4 was called Bloodline, and traced the origins of the puzzle box. Of course Pinhead was offed by the end of the movie, but, like any kick-*** movie villian, he was resurrected for:
Hellraiser 5: Inferno
Hellraiser 6: Hellseeker
Hellraiser 7: Deader
Hellraiser 8: Hellworld
And I'm sure more are in the works...

Pinhead. Freddy is in simple terms an evil spirit that masquerades at being a guy back. Pinhead is a demon considerable on top of issues over an entire dominion and is rather perplexing to break. A demon considerable might continually have administration over lesser evil spirits.

I think they are thinking about it, but as long as there is a possibility for a strong franchise they will keep anything around.
