It depends who it is and how much there is a demand for that person. Like Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom & Keria Knightly are right now high ranking salary stars; after their blockbuster hit Pirates of the Caribbean. And Hillary Duff is in demand, so she is up there to. George Clooney is another one that "still" gets big bucks, even though he is getting up in age. And it also has allot to do with fans and who lusts after their bodies..lol! Catherine Zeta-Jones was up there, but after the Mask of Zoro is taking time out to be a mother and wife. So it really depends..but, they still make BIG BUCKS, even those that don't get as much as those on the top.

A lot. But this was just in my paper. A star who makes $20 million for a job takes home between $7 and $9 million.

Hilary Duff works pretty hard, I bet her income is high.

Hard to say.

When she was with Disney on TV she was union and got paid a hefty salary, probably $2,500 a week to start and maybe $5,000 to $10,000 in the second year, AT BEST. She might have gotten good for the movie, then again she might have been under a very harsh Disney contract that paid her little, compared to say, Charlie Sheen who is getting something like $5 mil a year for his TV show.

Now she is just doing music. She may have gotten a nice advance because of her fame with Disney and the Movie. Maybe $500,000.

The rest comes from record sales after they deduct that $500,000.

On tour she probably does good. Maybe as much as $5,000 per show and she does maybe 50 shows.

We're talking good but not great For a 21 year old with 4 years on the scene to make $500,000+ is not bad. Maybe she's made a million but this is DIVIDED among 5 or 6 years, so it's $100,000 - $200,000 a year and you have to pay taxes, agent fees, so you keep maybe 50% unless you have a good business manager and then you keep 65%.

So only makes money off radio if she wrote the songs, then that amounts to maybe $15,000 a year by now. Maybe $25,000.

She keeps it up, next contract she might get millions up front. That's when you make money.

She may have done better than Britney by album 2.

Britney probably made less money from Disney, but I think she worked longer. She probably made $2,500 a week on the Mousketters, that's union minimum.

They only get like $500 per day/per show for the 3rd rerun after that it drops.

Now TV people on nighttime network shows are different. Figure the people on taht new show Jerico. The young co-stars with little previous work they are getting anywhere from $15K to 50K per episode. Gerald McRaney probably it getting a lot more maybe $75K per epsidoe.

The show get cancelled in January they walk about with $150k minimum to $750,000 maximum, no further money if it gts cancelled.

The show survives in 2 years they start making more like $1.5 million each per year.

Show goes into syndication on TV LAND in 5 years, they each get $10k paid quarterly for the first year (union minimum), and by the 10 year it drops to $500 per quater.

Remember, once again they hve to pay taxes, agent fees. So they keep 50% to 60% and it's paid on a weekly basis while they work.

In the summer they collect unemployment or about $500 a week. They go on vacation in November til January and they go on unemployemnt at $500 a week.

From Septe to Novebemer they made maybe $40k take home minimum. The show doesn't come back they are out look for Guest Star work.

hilary makes a lot because she is very famous, she is an actress, and she is a singer. but like that girl from the newest bring it on (hadin paredence, not sure how to spell her name) she wouldnt make as much as hilary. c i think hilary would mayb make like 250,000(i would think) and than that other girl would make like 25,000
