I feel spent after looking at these paintings. awsome work!!!!

Interesting, but it seems sketchy to me. The paintings don't have the luminosity that oils normally have (oils tend to look like they "glow" a little because the oil paints are translucent so light travels through all of the layers. Check out the Arnolfini Portrait to see this). Plus, photorealism like this takes a LONG time to do and it seems like this guy was cranking out a few of these each year (possibly more, a few that ended up on the site, anyway). It may be real, but I would wait to see one in person before handing this guy a grand.

yep its a real painting if you look at the larger picture you can see the brush strokes. its the same techniques that reninsance painters used. he is awesome! My mother is an art teacher and she said that you would defintely have to use oils to achieve results.

That is quite impressive. Very nice work.
I don't know who Jerry Schuster is, but he's very good at what he does. Thumbs up.
Interesting. Most artists today are moving away from realism. But this is really something special.
