This topic is not being discussed openly. Is the newspaper squashing the story for some reason?

I'm so sick of these idiotic 9/11 conspiracy theories. The buildings collapsed because some savages crashed airplanes, loaded with fuel, into the two towers. I saw the hole in the north side of the North Tower from my Midtown office. Anyone who has done the slightest bit of research knows how the Twin Towers were uniquely constructed. The structures' support was from the frame of the buildings, thereby creating more space on the floors which would otherwise have been cluttered with support beams. Unfortunately, the interior structures could not support the burden caused by the compromised frames as a result of the crashed planes, so the towers collapsed. 9/11 happened because of failed US foreign policy, bureaucratic ineptitude, and arrogance ("it can't happen here"). I hold the Clinton and Bush administrations (and prior administrations) equally responsible. I oppose the war in Iraq and the Bush administration. But these conspiracy theories are absurd. 9/11 conspiracy people: Please dispense with these useless, dopey, and hurtful allegations and move onto something productive. (I'd love to see these conspiracy people spout their outrageous assertions in any New York City firehouse or police station!)

Most newspapers are so hostile to Bush that if there was anything to these conspiracy theories they would be all over it. But they're not, because no matter how much they hate the president, they realize that these theories are all bunk!
911 Myths, a book that tears these stupid conspiracy theories has just hit the press. pick yourself up a copy!

Legitamate reporters report facts. the theory angle is covered by the tabloids and paranoid conspiracy theorists. Get the facts from the people that were there and not the government. Politics in the hands of some are merely theories waiting to be proven by fact. (Sometimes the theories come to light before the facts come after the reaction to events)

Conspiracy and other crackpot theories along with the olde "too little too late" phrase and use of "20-20 hindsight" by certain people who come out of the woodwork after many major events. Like, how many people shot Jack Kennedy? Crap.

Because there is no conspiracy to report. The facts are: The WTC was destroyed by Muslim terrorists who want everybody who isn't Muslim to be dead. Kooks who believe that Bush flew the airplane himself into the first tower and parachuted out just before it hit and then disappeared into the crowd as he reached the ground are idiots.

What they said. Its all speculation. The theories don't hold up to intense questioning and verification.

Its more suited for movies like Loose Change or even something like a History Channel special.

Because it is such an obvious piece of horses--t that no reputable paper would pollute itself by printing it.
