Dehydration because of the salt.

the salt makes the body become dehydrated. This is seen first in the stomach which causes you to vomit (vomiting is a defense mechanism the body uses to get rid of the salt). Next the entire system starts getting affected because the kidneys cannot get rid of the salts due to the fact that the volume of salt in proportion to the volume of water is too great for the body to get rid of. Thus the organs begin to dry up inside due to dehydration and then eventual shut-down of the entire system- in simple terms, if you drink too much of it, it can cause DEATH.

Because all of your cellular functions on the principal of osmosis. Drinking a salt water solution contains less water than your body's cells and will draw the water from your system. Eventually your kidneys and such will fail and you will die.

nothing if you only drink a little and have plenty of fresh water available.

but if it is the only water to drink, the salt makes you thirstier, you drink more salt water, the sodium overloads your body, you swell up some because of the sodium overload, the sodium-potassium balance gets way off, and i think you die because that really messes up your heart. but i could be wrong about that last step.

Humans can't drink salt water because the kidneys can only make urine that is less salty than salt water. Therefore, to get rid of all the excess salt taken in by drinking salt water, you have to urinate more water than you drank, so you die of dehydration.

Yay.

It was pretty funny. That's about the worst that will happen. Depends on how much you drink.

You can die because the salt somehow can make your blood cells shrivel and dry out, i learned it in bio, but i don't remember, i think it was something like lysome or something, if you look it up I'm sure you'll find it.
