It is common for a kid to have a crush on a teacher; tell your friend it is normal and he will get over it. Tell him not to do anything about it or he will look like an idiot. See if he can distract himself with some other activity.

First of all if the person they have a "crush" on is married, then keep it at that,The fact that they are married with children should send a very big message already, and telling the wrong person could start a real problem,I think "crushes" are just a nice way of saying that the person is attracted to someone, nothing more.So if it were Me , I wouldn't say a thing.I would cherish My feelings for them and know that I respect them enough and their children, and know in My heart how I felt when I was 19, and look back on a happy part of My life.By the way it is very common to "feel" that way about people in ones life that are highly respected in ones eyes. Good Luck! :)

Marriage is holy and should be respected as such. So tell your friend she is off limits to him if he doesn't think it is wrong to pursue his crush. He can instead dwell on her husband and children when he finds himself thinking of her, that should raise his consciousness about it. It is sometimes a common thing for students to have crushes on their teachers, but it will go away in time, most likely, and if it doesn't, then take classes where that teacher is not the teacher. We are responsible for our thoughts and can change them, and then our feelings will change too.

Forget it. There are plenty of other people. He does not need to place himself, or anyone else in such a situation.
