America Is a great country, for sure. It just so happens that the good old USA is responsible for starting most of the worlds wars. We just can't seem to figure out a way to prosper without wars! If we could , mankind would be allowed to evolve to a higher level. Until then we shall all wallow in our existence.

Look at it like this. Without the intervention of the United States military in a lot of these conflicts the peoples in regions of Africa, the middle east, and parts of the former Soviet Union would be beheld to tyranny by regimes who by all accounts could serve to strengthen themselves and threaten us. Good try hippy.

Obviously the previous commentator has not read the UN human rights clause. or even listened to resolutions from the UN on what they define as human rights. One of which is the right to adequate shelter. Meaning of course that the United States should pay to build homes for everyone in the world.
There is no such thing as human rights. Where did they get them. who guarantees them? Obviously not any western European country who are too busy making deals with Iran and Libya. or Eastern European who are still destitute from their sojourn with "Communism"
Not Africa who is slipping steadily into Caos in every nation on that continent. Not the middle east where Democracy and Human Rights are just something to Laugh at.
Obviously the previous poster knows nothing about human rights or what it takes to procure them. or Keep them.
get your head out of your **** before you suffocate.

Picture your mother or father in one of Saddam's giant shredders being ripped into tiny pieces while you beg for mercy.
If you prefer that, then you think the world is better without human dignity and the promise of liberty that is the United States of America.
Then, you get what you deserve.
