123456789 x 9 +10= 1111111111

9 x 9 + 7 = 88
98 x 9 + 6 = 888
987 x 9 + 5 = 8888
9876 x 9 + 4 = 88888
98765 x 9 + 3 = 888888
987654 x 9 + 2 = 8888888
9876543 x 9 + 1 = 88888888
98765432 x 9 + 0 = 888888888

Brilliant, isn't it?

And finally, take a look at this symmetry:

1 x 1 = 1
11 x 11 = 121
111 x 111 = 12321
1111 x 1111 = 1234321
11111 x 11111 = 123454321
111111 x 111111 = 12345654321
1111111 x 1111111 = 1234567654321
11111111 x 11111111 = 123456787654321
111111111 x 111111111=12345678987654321

3/4(9x + 2) = 15x

4(3/4)(9x + 2 = 4(15x)

Clearing the fraction. Multiplying both sides of the equation by 4

3(9x + 2) = 60x

27x + 6 = 60x

Tfhe distributive property on the left side of the equation.

27x + 6 - 27x = 60x - 27x

Subtracting - 27x from both sides of the equation

6 = 33x

6/33 = 33x/33

Dividing 33 on both sides of the equation

6/33 = x

2/11 = x

The solution set is { 2/11 }

Amazing.There are so many answers.Correct answer is x=2/11. May I suggest that Answerers plug in the answer back into the equation to see if the answer is correct. If you are acting as a teacher , make sure you are teaching right.
The following is the simplest way to solve. Eq is
(3/4)(9x+2)=15x
Multiply throughout by 4/3.You get
9x+2=20x.
Now solve.

Hey is it 3/4 * (9x+2) = 15x or 3 / (4*(9x+2)) = 15x
for first one,

3/4 * (9x+2) = 15x
27x + 6 = 60x
33x = 6
x = 6/33 or 2/11

For the second one,
3 / (4*(9x+2)) = 15x
3/(36x+8) = 15x
3 = 540x^2 + 120x
solving this quadratric equation, 540x^2 + 120x - 3 =0
180x^2 + 40x - 1 = 0
x = 4294.974048365227 or -4374.974048365227

multiply each side by 4/3 first.
4/3(3/4)(9x + 2) = 15x(4/3)
9x + 2 = 60x/3
9x + 2 = 20x (now you combine like terms by subtracting 9x on both sides)
-9x + 9x + 2 = 20x - 9x
11x = 2
so x = 2/11

0.1818181818 repeating

3/4(9x+2) = 15x

3/4*9x + 3/4*2 = 15x

6.75x + 1.5 = 15x

15x-6.75x = 8.25x

1.5/8.25 = x

3/4(9x+2)=15x
21x/4 + 3/2 = 15x
21x/4-15x = -3/2
(21x-60x)1/4 = -3/2
-39x = -3/2
-x = -3/2 * 1/39
-x=-1/26
x=1/26
