yeah, but why? Skiing has many advantages that snowboarding doesn't and you can do tricks on skiis just as you can do tricks on snowboards. Don't give up the fight man, the snowboarders are taking over! :-P
But seriously, if you want to switch over, it's gonna take a good amount of work, but its def. possible. Good luck

Ofcourse, but from my experience the question is, "do skiers have the patience to totally learn snowboarding?". That answer is usually "no" because for most people, snowboarding is brutal to learn and if they already are good at skiing, it is easy to quit and go back to what they're good at (and what's less painful). I do think if you're interested you should definitely give it a try.

Of course. A good skier is halfway there. Snowboarding has a steep learning curve, but once you got it, surf on!

YES! But if they are able to learn, that is a whole different story...I am a TOTAL SKIIER and I tried snowboarding once. It was fun, but HARD! I hope to try again this year. I am counting the days till ski season!

Of course. My Dad who is in his late fourties is a skiier but last winter I taught him how to snowboard. He did really well!
