Guantanamo bay has constantly been in Cuba. that's a ordinary characteristic on bays all all over the realm, they're the place they're. you would be unable to pass them. possibly you're asking why the u . s . has a militia base IN Guantanamo bay. the easy answer is that the u . s . invaded Cuba and stored a sea coast head there basically in case. are not getting puzzled. Germany invaded Europe through fact it replace right into a foul united states of america with undesirable intentions. the U.S. invaded Afghanistan through fact it replace into an exceptionally very undesirable united states of america with very very undesirable intentions. Iraq invaded Kuwait through fact its ruler (democratically elected president, yet you recognize that those iraquis would be unable to make determination of their very own) replace into an evil tyrannic dictator. the u . s . invaded Cuba to guard freedom and liberty and shop the international and cut back international warning and defend democracies and... that should assist you sidestep blunders sooner or later use this easy rule, if A invades B and A isn't u . s ., A is undesirable. If A is u . s ., each and every thing is high quality, this is all being performed on your sturdy.

I don't mean this with any ill harm, either your really young or you did not pay attention in school, We leased the land from Cuba, its a lot like Mexico, as an American you can move to Mexico, build a house and LEASE the prop for 99 years however you can never own it, not even if you become a citizen. You have to be born in Mexico to own any Property. Kinda messed up if you consider the amount of people that migrate into this country every year legally and we allow them to own prop, Even in this country if you step onto a consulent that's owned by lets say China you are on China's land and have to abide by there laws, even though your still in America, The whole leasing of land was set up with good intentions to protect country's citizens, however like 99 percent of what starts off good usually ends up a mess do to greed, power and corruption, if you really want to learn about live study history! it will teach you about the past but more importantly it will teach you how to see the future. HISTORY ALWAYS REPEATS ITSELF!

Pre-Castro Cuba signed a 99 year lease on the land the Guantanamo base sits on, so it's theirs until the 2050s

The USA rents Guantanamo Bay from Cuba. Raoul Castro is on record as being OK with that arrangement and has promised to return any escapees ASAP.

It is an open ended contract and both countries have to agree to agree to end the contract for it to go back to Cuban control and for years Cuba has refused to sell utilities to USA so we have to ship in water and supply our own power

We leased it, and it is American land as long as there is a lease! It will revert to Cuba when the lease runs out!
Technically, Castro could void it, but he doesn't want a war!
