I don't mean this with any ill harm, either your really young or you did not pay attention in school, We leased the land from Cuba, its a lot like Mexico, as an American you can move to Mexico, build a house and LEASE the prop for 99 years however you can never own it, not even if you become a citizen. You have to be born in Mexico to own any Property. It is an open ended contract and both countries have to agree to agree to end the contract for it to go back to Cuban control and for years Cuba has refused to sell utilities to USA so we have to ship in water and supply our own power
