Everytime I started to carry a box, he would come over and take it away from me and carry it for me. He won't let me carry it.

Sometimes the direct approach is best, just ask. But if that seems too bold for your liking, look for the following signs. Pay attention to your conversations with the person in question.
1) Does this person show a special interest in having a conversation with you and, once started, make an effort to keep that conversation going?
2) Has this person taken a sudden interest in your life and hobbies? This is a sure sign that he or she is interested in something.
3) Other elements of body language include frequent eye contact, holding your gaze and looking down before looking away.
4) Does the person you're wondering about just plain smile at you a lot?
Just remember, take each moment like it will be the last. This I feel will be a good start for you in knowing. Good Luck!!!!!!!

I was in the same situation. Guy holds the door for me. Helps me load the cart. Calls me sweetie. But honestly they are just being a gentleman. And I think it is so hard to think that the special treatment is for you because you don't experience that everyday. If men were like that everyday, we wouldn't be thinking that way. I know it drive people like me and you nuts. I guess because we like the gentlemen. The possitive side is they were raised right. There is hope though. Just talk to the guy. I know it's hard for me to talk to that guy. But it's the only way you'll know.

Well yes that is always a possibility that he likes you. However there are more than one degree of liking you. He could like you as a friend, he could like you as a fellow worker, he could respect you and not want to possibly get hurt by lifting heavy things, he could like you as more than a friend too. Or he might just be trying to be helpful and help you around to be polite. So it could mean he likes you, but that doesn't necessarily mean he wants to be with you.

He could be into you, but maybe not. He could just be a getleman. Does he do this for other girls as well??? Or just you? And does he call you ma'am? Does he say yes ma'am and no ma'am or sir to a lot of people? If so, he is probably just a polite young man who was brought up with manners.

Mostly likely (he likes you). Or he's a polite/helpful person. (Observe if he extends the same to others). For any of these reasons, be happy that he's a nice co-worker to have around and appreciate that. Thery are hard to come by nowadays! :-)

Sounds like he's got very good manners. :-) It's rare these days. Unfortunately, that's not quite enough to go by to see whether or not he likes you. Engage him in conversation while he's carrying your box, and perhaps he'll let something slip. :-) Good luck with your desired outcome!

no he's being a gentleman, his mama raised him right is all. don't read too much into it. it's a sad day when a sign of manners is mistaken for "is he coming on to me?"

gosh, i cry for the days when men pulled out your chair and stood up when you left a room or came into one and held the door open for you just because .... it was GOOD MANNERS.

Maybe he just wants to help you. While he helps you, talk to him. See what he's interested in, what he likes to do. Maybe, he does like you, usually you can tell when you start talking.
