Well...unless she's going through menopause...then something could be very wrong...it would be wise to go to a doctor.

Womens menstrual cycles are not alike and only a doctor could give her a better answer as to why she has not had a period for over 3 months. While a home pregancy test can determine whether your GF is pregnant or not, they can be inaccurate. Home pregancy test positive if the hormones are high enough to be detected. A blood test could rule out pregnancy though.

If your GF is going through a lot of stress it may be a cause for her period to be delayed. Again, some women go months without a period (when they are irregular). If your girlfriend is physically active in sports it can also cause a delay in her period as well.

Sometimes petite girls don't have periods for long amounts of time like that. Too much exercise, stress, or malnutrition can do that. I would say have her go to the doctor just to make sure it's not some bigger problem like infertillity but if she's young (like only has had her period for a year or so) or any of the other things I just said, it's probably nothing to worry about.

Could be a number of mild issues, or a few severe. It could be absolutely nothing, and just the way her body is reacting to her enviroment (stress, diet) right noe. A lot of women have irregular or long cycles. Bottom line, she needs to make an appt to see a gyn just make sure everything is good.

She is probably stressed or if she is on the pill, she may be off schedule. If she is on BC injections, I think you skip periods completely...she should go to a gyno for sure.
