We like this new show very much. I'm anxious to find out who it was that pushed the button.
Even with attacks on eight different cities (and it's possible that there could be more), there would be a lot of survivors (at least of the initial blasts). But there would be many more who would be victims of the radioactive fallout. However, life would be forever changed. Eventually, they should be able to get most things going again (at least one would think so), even though it might take years in some cases.
On the other hand, if we were so unlucky to have attacks on most cities of any size, we could find ourselves back to living in the 1800s with no electrical power or fuel for our cars. Much of society would break down, maybe even as bad as it was in "Mad Max." A scary thought!
I liked this week's episode with the escaped convicts pretending to be sheriff's deputies. That girl sure had some brains and some guts, too. However, there are more convicts on the loose! This is going to be good to see what happens with them.
I'm looking forward to see how this works out. This is one new show that we're not going to miss.

Yes, we know of at least 8. Still, we don't know who did it or how many other cities. Actually, we only know 5 cities, the others could be military installations or something else.
Anyway, even if 8 cities, as long as they were low yield weapons, like those a terrorist might do, pretty much only the cities and their immediate outlying areas would be destroyed or heavily damaged. Horrible, but not something a nation couldn't recover from in a few years. However, if they were H-bombs and even more cities were hit, then yeah, it would be really bad.
Guess we'll have to keep tuning in to hope the mysteries get solved. Honestly, I don't know how they can stretch this out into multiple seasons of a television show. Would make a good movie or mini-series, but 20+ hours of TV every season????
Did you notice on this last "Fallout" episode, that:
After shooting the escaped prisoners, when Emily and Jake and the other girl ran into the storm cellar, they left the 2 deputies, one of which we know is alive, in the trunk to die in the fallout?
Also, Jake sure seems to have an interesting past in those last 5 years he was away. Somehow, he's picked up the knowledge of demolitions. He's also taking charge of a lot of things. Odd for a "bum" character, unless maybe he was in the intelligence service or military, but there's no reason he would hide ordinary military service from his family, as they would be proud of that.

I only got to see about 15 minutes and got distracted. I can't imagine what would happen if 8 a-bombs hit the US!
