Those are scams.

If you receive an unsolicited communication through email from somewhere in Africa, then most likely than not, IT'S A SCAM. There are email scams from Africa that come in all sorts of form: you won the lottery (even without buying a ticket, huh!), someone died and wants to leave you millions and millions of dollars (and they just happened to decide to leave that money to you, a complete stranger), and stupid stuff like that.

Don't reply to any of those emails, or they'll just keep sending you more garbage.

The type of email that you are talking about is an email scam ,also known as a Nigerian scam or 419, that has been circulating the Internet for years. There are many variations of this email. Personally, I get several of them a week. It's very annoying. What you need to do when you get one of these emails is ignore and delete it. NEVER reply to it ,or any other spam that you may get, because it will only confirm to the sender that your email address really exists and cause you to get even more spam.

It would be a very good idea for you to read as much information about these scams as possible so that you don't ever become a victim.

Remember, if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is.

I hope this helps. Good luck!!
