I can't give you any guarantees, and only speak from experience.. I love cocoa butter, its' the smell of coconut that I appreciate, and during pregnancy I did continue to lather myself up with it, head to toe. I had no idea the time, that it was some form of regiment for stretch marks, yet,, I CAN state that I have NO stretch marks. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the cocoa butter, or that I moisturized my skin, but I doubt that it hurt in the least.

I think many factors, such as the weight of the child born, pregnancy size of the birth mother, or elasticity of the skin, etc,, who knows, as we could go on and on as each person is so very different, but ... I don't have any, I used it daily. Maybe a poll on who used it and who didn't, and who has marks and who doesn't'..

Oh, I also did use Vitamin E, you can get at Walmart and GNC, which are capsules. I pierced the caplets with a needle and smeared the oil on my stomach about 4 months into pregnacy..

Good luck to you either way. My best.

I think its hereditary if you get stretch marks or not , depending on the elasticity of your skin also , I used cocoa butter by Palmer throughout my whole pregnancy and i didn't get a single stretch mark so i believe it works, it did for me

Only if you use it BEFORE you get the stratch marks. Vitamin E is very good to put on stretch marks. But you have to apply it and the best way for it to be effective is to lay in the sun.

I thought it did, i used it ALL the time with my first, it didn't work in the least bit with my second, and by the fourth i had given in and realized that the road map was inevitable :( lol
