Or maybe install the entire disk on my hard drive so the game can be played without the disk in the cd drive. It doesn't give you the option to install the entire disk. I vaguely remember a friend doing it once but I can't remember how he did it. Thanks!

You have to manually copy the contents of the entire CD to your hard drive then edit the registry keys for that game to redirect the path to the location you copied the files to on your hard drive.
As you did not give any further details of the game you wish to install or your windows version I am not able to offer any further advice.
Many games use various registry entries and .inf or other files for copy protection purpose, without knowing which game you are trying to install to your hard disk any further help would be impossible to give.

Often you can simply copy/paste the entire contents of the CD to your HD, and install it from there. However, this does not allow you to play the game without the CD. Copy protection built into the game itself checks to see of the CD is in your drive. If it is, the game starts. If not, it wont. To get around that, you will need a certain kind of patch. Unfortunately, I'm not going to give out that info here.

You need to reverse the polarity of the flux capacitor. When you insert the cd, it should copy at the rate of hyperactive. The molecular structure of the game information will bend, for every action there is an equal reaction. You should be able to have the game install from your hard drive after that.

Get Alcohol 120%
Rip the CD to your hard drive.
Use 'Daemon Tools' to mount the disc in a 'virtual' drive.
If you use Alcohol 120% to mount the game, it won't always start because of securom and other forms of encryption.
