When I weigh my weed, I put a nickle on the scales. It weighs exactly 5 grams, and the scales should say so.

I think what is being asked is how many zeros are significant in the answer. Is 1.000000000 any more accurate than 1.0000000001? How can you tell? Well it depends on the accuracy of the measuring tool and on the number of significant zeros
