It happens. Not all managers are made the same, and the choice of a qualified/professional manager to work for is not in our hands. Sad but true, this is the real world. Been through it myself (many times)!

Based on your details - 1. your manager either knew nothing (and delegating you all the work, which is good as in the process you learn more), 2. does not like you personally (only you will know, and if need to, ask to speak to him about the issue and resolve it), 3. bad communication/listening skills (which he doesn't realised!). Ask to talk to him about it, that you need clearer instructions/details to fulfil the work.

In the meantime, accept all work orders, prioritise them and meet the deadlines. Start looking out for other opportunities (we do not have to put up with managers who should not be where they are and the grass is always greener for those who know their work).

Hang on there, and good luck :-)

The reason why you are stressing is because your simply not speaking my mind. Let you boss know how you feel. If things go wrong that's their problem not yours. Always address the problem head on, never let it get to the point were it is stressing you. Stress can kill you.Remember that !!!

Find another job, even if you do like this one. Life's too short, ya' know!

get a recorder, when he is talking to you record, then you can play back what he ask you, without have to ask him again.
