In this case you have check all posibilities. Delete temp. int. files.
Scan for virus. scan for SpyWare etc. Also consider connection problems. Call ISP. How about programs other than Internet?

Have your provider check your speed! If that's not the problem, then it's your computer! It could be anything! Too many programs running at once( try switching off some icons on the bottom right side of the screen) , too much memory space is being used, adware, spyware, tojans, worms, a virus(though a good anti- virus should let you know this), errors on your HD, internet clutter( try freeing up memory space in the control panel in performance a maintenance) , perhaps disk defragmentation or even system restore! My recommendation is to get Norton"s system works. This takes care of most problems for you! It ensures your system's performance is at it's best! Try the yahoo toolbar with norton's anti-spy too! First look for a virus or spyware or adware! If not take the other steps! Make system restore your last option! Good luck!!

Hm...I've had that problem. I don't know if it'll work with yours, but try plz. If you have a router or a dsl router? Unplug the power from the cable modem or dsl box etc.. don't plug it back in until 30 seconds after. Then plug it back on, wait for the connection to settle. Your connection is restored to the speed that you had before.

Sound's like you have either spyware or adware or virus, Lavasoft makes a realy good program called ad-aware, download it or webroot or xosoft all of these are really good. You can also go to run under start and type in msconfig then hit ok, go to start up and uncheck anyhting like yahoo, msn and programs you installed your self, So that when you start your pc all that does not load, It will help allot but make sure if you do not know what it is do not uncheck it,only things you know you downloaded that is starting at start up, email me if you need help.

Try to get some anti-spyware such as ad-aware free edition. That might be a problem.
