There are two that I keep up with. There is one I just got back in touch with, but I think this person may disappear some day again as has happened on more than one occasion in the past.
These are people I've known for just under thirty years.
I suppose the "one" should really be described as a close acquaintance, (since they disappear and I have to find them) though I always felt we were close and our children were best friends until my friend's child was killed in an accident. We have children that are buried in the same cemetery, a short walk away from each other, so we will always be tied together somehow.

i have never counted them before this but now that I think of it , I have 11 good friends over the past 10 years and countless acquaintances.

Not including my husband, two that I still keep in contact with. The others are just acquaintances now that I will say "hi" to in passing.

5 that I would count as good friends... many more that are friends by not necessarily ones I see or talk to as often

none. i have never had a true friend other than my kids. you can't trust anyone in this world anymore. a person will stab you in the back if it gets them something in return. seems like no one can keep their mouths shut anymore either. there are no morals left anymore. it is really sad
