I'd rather stay home and get drunk and talk to myself. Then I don't have to worry about saying too much or breach of confidentiality,or whatever.Even cheaper than a bartender as the drinks there cost more than just buying a bottle,in most cases.

I'd save the money and avoid DUIs and go to any one of the millions of 12 step meetings out there.

Cheaper than a movie and theres free coffee.

note that I AM joking. The movie & coffee line is a quote from fight club

I think you have a good idea. Bartenders have seen pretty near all that's out there....Besides, probably is way cheaper...Isn't a therapist gonna cost 70.00 - 100.00 /hr? Therapist, bartender...heck, ask the cashier at the grocery store. They are all likely as helpful as some psychologists. Hahahahaha!!

Why not take your therapist out to a bar? Double the listening, plus free peanuts to boot! How can you lose?

but you may not get the proper advice on your problems.

my suggestion is: don't talk to a bartender OR to atherapist as well. START TALKING TO YOUR INNER SELF. you will find al the right answers in due course. at the beginning you may not succeed. but kep trying. you will find your inner self answer you and guide you properly.

It's your liver. Of course, once that is shot, the doctors will not give you a transplant because you had abused alcohol and they don't tend to think highly of that.
