My brother was Osama Bin Laden for Halloween one time, I was Rogue and a Pirate Wench, and two of my classmates were Arwen and Aragon from Lord of The Rings. Do something unique and funny.

spike your hair up and off to the side with hairspray.
or put it in a braid with a piece of wire in it to get it pointing up at an angle. wear a tie with a piece of wire in it so the tie will stick up too. etc. a friend of mine went to a party like that and it was a riot.

I recently saw a picture of a guy who dressed in duck hunting gear (camo, boots, duck call hanging around his neck), and he was carrying his child who was dressed as a duck. It was a pretty cute way to incorporate his child. For a childless woman, you could wear a super tight camo t-shirt, fitted lowrise camo pants or skirt, boots, duck call, and a cute stuffed duck. Great way to grab a guy's eye. :)

read these last year and thought they would be cute:
1.glue sponges all over a pair of sweat pants and shirt and go as "self absorbed"
2. buy small, lite-weight end table--tack down a small lamp, cup, book,...whatever--wear it on your head and go as a "one night stand".
