As the former CEO of Ford has said, one good step would be to provide universal health coverage.
We are one of the only countries in the world that puts the burden of providing health care on the employer. What a fantastic boon it would be for all U.S. businesses if we were to toss that system out and start insuring everyone centrally.
Something like $1500 of the cost of each car produced here is the cost of health care for employees.

You just say fine you want to do business over there great more power to you but "We the People" are going to change the rules and bring back the tariff system and charge stuff coming in that way it won`t be worth is to move out unless selling to other countries. Corporations are not people and have no feelings so don`t be so easy on them. Here in Michigan we might loose our current Governor to a rich kid that has no idea what it is like to pay rent on time, who only want to turn Michigan into the Mississippi of the north with southern wages for the corporations. All because the Governor can`t put a gun to the heads of these corporations and say sit down your not going anywhere.

There are only 2 reasons why companies out source. One is cheaper labor and the other is tax loops to avoid paying their fair share of taxes. If we take away their tax shelters, they will stop taking companies over seas. If we fine all the companies in this country that hire illegals, there might be enough jobs that earn real wages to live on. Here is a fact, no BS, the American Family wages have been on a decline since the early 70's. That takes into account inflation. It wasn't until Bill Clinton that wages began to increase in real dollars catching up to the cost of living.

Don't shop at Walmart. Walmart jumpstarted the move by large corporations to cut costs. Unsuspecting blue-collar Americans cry when jobs are shipped overseas, yet they are contributing to the trend by shopping at Walmart. I haven't stepped foot in one of their stores for over 2 years and I'm not broke from shopping elsewhere.

Unemployment is at 4.7%, lower than the average of the 70's, 80's and 90's. Anyone that wants to work can find a job if they tried.

Companies look for low taxes, cheap, skilled labor, and good location. Provide those things here and more companies will stay here.

there are only people who can't have what they want. there for challenge how you want something so that you can get it. there is no way short of making a list of things you want out of the president elect him and hold him to those desires. Geo. wanted the gas prices dropped and bingo down they went so get the right ideas you want to the president you elect or live with what we got.
