I've come across the term a few times, but I often find myself being entirely too naive in certain topics. I have a vague idea but, I want a more in depth explanation.

KAMA Sutra ( without R ) is book about sex.

But KARMA SUTRA ( with R ) is a book about basic theory in Buddhism about law of cause and effect.

My Point of View

It is about being bored with having sex in just one way all the time. For those people that have creative issues and need to look at a manual to figure out how to get something done, the karma sutra is for you!

The Kama Sutra is an ancient Indian text on sex, widely considered to be the standard work on love in the Sanskrit literature. The text was written by Vatsyayana. The full title of the text is vātsyāyana kāma sūtra ("Aphorisms on Love, by Vatsyayana"). The author is believed to have lived sometime between the 1st to 6th centuries A.D, probably during the Gupta period.

It's Kama Sutra, not Karma Sutra. It originated in the Indian sub-continent hundreds of years ago. It's all about sexual pleasure in relation with 529 different sexual positions. But it is just a so so concept. No matter what position you're in with your partner, if you love them, you will enjoy anything with them. Kama Sutra is nothing but erotica and kind of, umm, a status symbol for people. They think they will called modern to follow these things. It's all in your head, dude.

It's a crazy old book, considered "the original sexual position book." It give funky name to the positions like "spreading lotus" or "bending trees" or whatever....we all know it's about knockin nasties. I don't want to bash it too hard, but it's just and old book that confirms even way way back people always were kinky.

You can look online or go to any big book store and find it.
