First thing is to feed everyone who doesn't have enough. If a country is not doing their best to take care of their people with jobs,housing, pay scale,medical needs,sanitation,clean air,everything, then the UN should have the privilege to send in qualified governmental help to change it in the legal/governmental way and do the best for the people without war happening.The country affected would have to pay the UN for the service of this staff!The people of each country would love to see these people come in and get their country right! I believe this would stop the illegals from stealing into other countries.I would make it a law for families to have one or two cars and also impose a limit to gas each monthaccording to where they live and mileage to jobs. This would stop the resources being drained and the waste that we take advantage of.I would make pay scales for working Americans and social security and disability pay enough to live on and only those who have worked and lived here could have it.I would straighten up the insurance and medical business so everyone can be taken care of medically at the dr. of their choice.Drs. and hospitals would be held to the highest rules and ckd regularly. All children would get equal education with equal technology and programs for every child's need and 3 meals a day offered if needed. Teachers would be screened twice yearly for work processes, private life indulgances, legal issues, and financial problems.Teachers should be held as good citizens and respected and paid well because they are role models and in charge of our most valuable possessions and our future.If there is a legal problem the teacher must be brought before the board right then to see if they are considered fit for teaching. Too many get away with things and then our kids get hurt. Ineffective teachers should find another job. Anyone hiring an illegal would be fined and have to pay for the illegal's fines and shipping back home. The gov't of the illegal should pay for these costs if the illegal isn't working and have an extra fled-the-country tax.I would empty out the extras at the local,state and nat'l levels and cut their budgets to bare bones.(The White House doesn't need all of those trees and decorations each year and the cost of lighting them! We also don't need the expense of all politicians flights to everywher.Let them pay their own way!)Our taxes should be better spent. Then the real honest people who are not there for prestige or money could be voted in to care for the country in a way to help us, the people, instead of helping the politicians pocketbooks and their own private businesses.I would put many more qualified people on the country's protection and wall up the borders to about 20 ft with gunnery on top in towers spaced out. Ports/airports would be covered with trained dogs and soldiers for security and100% coverage daily on shipping/baggage/people checks! I will stop but there are so many things that need changes.It just seems that everything is going wrong and the people in charge are not working toward anything. They are more interested in putting down the other party. Best wishes!

make lives easier for those who always suffer, and maybe put a moveable barrier on the beach, so if a tsunami is coming, press a button and the barrier will rise up from the sand

Having that f*cking a**hole die is enough for me... I'd basically do the opposite of about everything he's done, including ending the war, providing more money for stem cell research, support choice for women as well as immigration, and definitely legalize gay marriage just to start...
