Baby Shalni and Kamalhassan started their career as child artistes and rose too histrionic heights in their career. Not like other child stars who ,despite the promise they had shown in their performances, set very early.
These two are,therefore the bast child artistes in South Indian cinema.Up in the North all language films from the Southern India are clubbed together as as South Indian films as all the three languages Tamil, Telugu ,Kannada and Malyalam are equally not understood.

Even Sridevi & Kamal Hassan were child actors. All were good.
