no sh*t a 440 six is better then anything but i want to know 400 or 383

383 IS A BETTER ENGINE AND PROBABLY EASIER AND CHEAPER TO FIND PARTS

I had a 1971 Dodge Challenger with a 383 and it was one awesome car....my buddy had a Charger with a 440 and it was a pain to work on but a monster engine...couldn't tell you about the 400 because I never had one!!

Have to agree with the rest, the 383 flippin' kicks a#@ and of course the 440 six pack is just a hoss nuf said

the 383 is better ,,all the 400 is,the 383 punched out,,and they don't last as long as the 383 does,i own one of each right now ,,good luck i hope this help,s.
