Jimmy Carter in the spring of 1979 publicly warned the Shah of Iran not to stop Ayatollah Khomeni from returning to Teheran from Paris even when he was making statements that America and the West would pay dearly.

Jimmy Carter helped to jumpstart islamo-fascism's war on the west. Way to go Peanut brain!

This is why he is the most hated US president in Iran. You are thoroughly right. He paved the way for the brutal ayatollahs to take power in Iran. Unfortunately Clinton did the same when he accepted Khatami ( Iran's ex-president ) as a reformist and smoothed the pressure on mullahs of Iran together with UK, Germany, and France. Even in the last election of the US, The democrat guy's ( Mr Kerry ? ) references to Iran was showing he was as idiot about Iran as Clinton and Carter were.

He returned the ayatollah because he did nothing else during his rule

You are right. He back stabbed the Shah and accused him of human rights abuse. Then he handed Iran to the Ayatollah on a silver platter, look at the human rights they have there now.
