I believe you type wrongly for the first question. I will give you the answers for the other 3 questions.

2(2x+3)= -6(x+9)
4x+6 = -6x-54
10x= -60
x= -6

7-(-4t)= 4t-14-21t
7+4t= -17t-14
21t= -21
t= -1

-3/4x +5 = 1/4x -3
3/4x+1/4x=5+3
1/x=8
x=1/8

-x + 6 - 5x = 14 - 2r

6 - 6x = 14 - 2r

3 - 3x= 7 - r

-3x = 4 - r

3x = -4 + r

x = (r-4)/3

2(2x + 3) = -6(x + 9)

4x+6 = -6x - 54

6 + 54 = -10 x

60 = -10x

-6 = x

7 - (-4t) = 4t - 14 - 21t

7 + 4t = 4t - 14 - 21t

7 = 14 - 21t

-7 = -21t

-7/-21 = t

1/3 = t

-3/4x + 5 = 1/4x - 3

-3x + 20 = x - 12

20 + 12 = 4x

32 = 4x

8 = x

2(2x + 3) = -6(x + 9)
4x + 6 = -6x -54
10x = -60
x = -6

-x + 6 - 5x = 14 - 2r
-6x + 6 = 14-2r
-6x = 8 - 2r
x = (2r - 8) / 6

7 - (-4t) = 4t - 14 - 21t
7 + 4t = -14 -17t
21 = -21t
t = -1

-3/4x + 5 = 1/4x - 3
-3x + 20 = x - 12
-4x = -32
x = 8

That is so simple it's not funny...just get like terms together and solve for x. Get x terms together and regular numbers together...do this by adding and subtracting on each side.

I'll do the first one for you...then you do the rest on your own.

Take -x and -5x and put them together...-6x.
Now add 6x to both side...which cancels it out on the left and you get 4x on the right after subtracting the 2x(I think you mean that rather than 2r). Now you should have 6=14+4x. Now subtract 14 from both sides...you should get -8=4x...now divide by 4 on both sides...-2=x or x=-2 if that looks better.

The rest are exactly the same...just make sure to run negatives(-) through before you start moving numbers.

-x + 6 - 5x = 14-2r
-6x+2r=14-6
-6x+2r = 8
2r = 8+6x
2r = 2(4+3x)
r = 2(4+3x)/2
r = 4+3x

2(2x+3)= -6(x+9)
4x+6 = -6x-54
4x+6x = -54-6
10x = -60
x= -60/10
x= -6

7-(-4t)= 4t-14-21t
7+4t= -17t-14
21t= -21
t= -1

-3/4x +5 = 1/4x -3
-3/4x - 1/4x = -3-5
-4/4x=8
-x=8
x=-8

That was quite easy......just addition, subraction, multiplication and division.....
Thanx for giving me a session of practice.....!!!
Hope it helps u....!!!

-x+6-5x=14-2r
-6x=14-6-2r
x=(8-2r)/-6

2(2x+3)=-6(x + 9)
4x+6=-6x-54
4x+6x=-54-6
10x=-60
x=-60/10
x=6

7 - (-4t) = 4t - 14 - 21t
7+4t=4t-21t-14
4t-4t+21t=-14-7
21t=-21
t=-21/21
t=1

-3/4x + 5 = 1/4x - 3
-3/4x -1/4x=-3-5
(-3-1)/4x=-8
-4/-8=4x
1/2=4x
1/8=x

Just combine like terms and balance the equation in terms of x.

For example: the first one -6x = 8 - 2r. or x = 1/6r - 4/3

Great problems. I was just writing a quiz for my Alg 1 kids for tomorrow...maybe I will use one or two of these.

ps: you may have a misprint on the first one...there seems to be a random r thrown in there.
