walmart makes deals with its suppliers (of products) that they must reduce costs to walmart by 5% a year. This has driven down wages and quality all over the world. walmart pays their workers low wages and has engaged in criminal practices like not paying them for all time worked and locking them in the store. walmart fights all attempts to unionize and then teaches their low paid workers how to apply for govt. benefits to offset those junky salaries. walmart has destroyed main street america and the mom and pop shops.

given all these infuriating things, it barely interests me that walmart no longer accepts lay-away. i despise the company and can't understand why anyone shops there. hello - does chinese slave labor mean anything to anyone here?

Ive never used it before but i would suppose that it would upset alot of people especially during the holiday season. My friend works there. She told me all about it and how they got a new guy working in the higher ups like a pres or regional or something like that. but anyway i guess he is from target and is making walmart into a target. They also have to wear uniforms. Khaki pants and blue shirt target Khaki and red shirt. She absolutely hates it. And i dont blame her
