I was told the original people living there did not have decendants and they simply vanished. Is this true?

I don't know? I live in Kentucky, but have never studied it much and really never even visited shaker town yet, sad for me hugh. So how did you happen to visit Kentucky or do you live here? I liked your answer to my question and am wondering who you are and where your descendants came from? Are you a shaker?
