I have a friend who's labeled a nerd, but for a good reason. I also have some other friends who I joke with about...well, everything I can't joke about with the first one. My other friends tend to pick on the other one. What the crap should I do?

Let your other friends know that they are being childish and self centered.....Keep being a kind friend to the one that they label a nerd.......Someday the nerd may be a supermodel or famous.....Who knows????????

It sounds like you think friend # 1, is a nerd. So I'm wondering why you consider him a friend in the first place, unless you like nerds. That being the case, than give up friend # 2. Other wise give up friend # !, or ask friend # 2 to help you change friend # 1 into an alright person. His answer should tell you which one is worth saving. Look up the word friend in dictionary also before considering anyone a friend.

what kind of friend are you if you don't protect your nerd friend where is your back bone i would not want you as a friend. i just hope you not laughing with them. plus your just as bad keeping your mouth shut when they talk and laugh about your so called nerd friend .........stand up for your friend as its wrong .

just tell your friends to respect him/her and not poke fun at that person. if you are a real friend to this first person and are not embarrased that he/she is a nerd, then stand up for him/her, that is what friends do right???

At some point, your friend is going to have to speak up for himself/herself, you can't fight his/her battles for them and you're not always going to be around. I think they're jealous of your friend, for whatever reason. Talk to your friend, tell him/her, it's time to take a stand and stand up to them, I guarantee you, after your friends stands up to them, they'll show more respect towards him/her.

Stop making fun of your friend with your other friends. By making fun of them behind thier back then pretending to be their friend is wrong and you should feel ashamed of yourself

i know this wont help but what i do is i just let them talk smack to eachother and then tell them to shut-up later. really bad advice. but whichever friends you like better, and think bout who you really like better is that is who you should stick up for.
