27, I think the peek of wrestling for this generation was 97-2002.
Wrestling in the eighties had its highs and lows, but there was only so much i could stand of squash matches, which was basically all that WWE programming was in the eighties and early nineties with the exception of SNME. I will say this though, despite all his faults, Hulk Hogan was awesome in the eighties, he really knew how to connect with a crowd, and I will always remember the first time I saw him in person. For me when I was a kid, Hulk was the first wrestler I ever cared as to what happened to him in his matches, not knowing that wrestling was fake and such. I used to actually worry that he might get beat up or hurt in his matches and would pray that he would win. By the time the attitude era came along, and guys like the Rock, Austin, and Foley were my favourites, despite the fact that I found wrestling more interesting at that time I knew it was fake and could never have that type of connection again.

I'm 23-I've watched wrestling since I was four. Yikes!- thats 19 years. I think the peak of the wrestling was 1994-1998. 2001-2002ish-not too many crappy storylines but they WWE brought back old faces like Shawn Michaels and of course -Kevin Nash was on WWE for a bit. And it was all before reality tv show concept took control over WWE with Tough Enough and Diva Search. WWE has lost its edge and fans probably b/c I remember when a new guy who joined it took him (or her) forever just to get a tag team or intercontinental belt or even get in a pay-per-view.

i am 32 been watching wrestling since i was 5 years old nwa wide wide world of sports since then i have seen them all come and go back then it was hard to have a story line since all they got to say was watch my next match with so and so now they have more tv time there is a wrestling show on 4 days a week and a ppv once a month or every other month this month there are 2 wrestling ppvs no surrender TNA no mercy WWE is wrstling better now or then well i guess that if you are a true fan it doesn't matter you see the progression from dusty rhodes to dustin rhodes (golddust) the transistion from hulkamania to degenerationx cowboy bob orton to randy orton im just sayin if you like wrestling you watch it grow sometimes vince pisses me off too but i am relieved when dx dumps a pile of crap on his head or shuvs his head up the big shows *ss (that was funny)

17 1/2. Depends on what you mean by old, lol , because wrestling was better back in the mid-late 90s. I've been watching since I was about 6.

Im 30, there is a difference between better, what we never seen, and what set the standards of future growth in the pro wrestling business. What it really boils down to is what you liked better in life with wrestling, the Bruno Sammartino, Hogan, Flair, Savage, Warrior, Undertaker, Extreme, Lucha Libre, nWo, DX, Stone Cold, The Rock, and what evolved into now (I tried to fade into "the times" the best I could there). Each era had its heyday and qualities, its down to preference at this point. The era of today is under the most scrutiny from non-internet and internet fans (mostly internet). Take your own pick I would have to say.
I personally enjoyed the WCW vs WWE, Austin vs. McMahon era the most. Nitro and RAW had me flipping back and forth on channels more times than any show to date in my life.

I'm 25.
I'm not sure that wrestling was really much better 10-15 years ago, is just that we are less naive than we used to be... The world changed, we changed, but wrestling hasn't change all that much... Maybe that's the problem.

I'm 33. Wrestlers use to have much more wrestling ability in the past. Today you have wrestlers with limited wrestling ability. But today's wrestling is more entertaining to me. It's way funnier & the wrestling women are way hotter. It's more of a soap opera now with better story lines.
