If windows will still come up click on start and the run. Type in cmd and hit enter. Then type in format c:/ and hit the enter key

You will lose everything. I have a copy of FDISK.EXE that I like to use to wipe out windows. But if you don't know what you are doing I don't advise it.

Really need more info on what you are doing and at what state your computer is in now.

Need more info -- what computer memory? Are yo talking about the HD? or the system memory (RAM)?

When you say the setup menu, what are you referring to?

Turn it off, unplug it, the memory will be vacant, until you start it up again.

But, I suspect your question is geared towards the storage media, and how to clear that? Like, to format the hard drive?

This would do it, in an automatic mode, http://pclinuxos.com
