BOTH COMPANIES ARE OWNER BY THEIR STOCKHOLDERS. NEITHER SERGEI BRIN OR LARRY PAGE OWN GOOGLE, THEY MAY ONLY A TINY PART OF IT. SAME GOES FOR YAHOO. IN FACT YOU COULD OWN PART OF BOTH COMPANIES BY BUING THEIR STOCK!!!
