I think it has. They think they have SUPPORT over here.
Look at what Hugo Chavez did.
Why can't you just support the USA in a time of war by NOT bashing it's administration on WAR policies...which by the way I agree with.
EVERYONE wants our troops home - we differ on WHEN and HOW to bring them home.

When you hear Bin Laden and his lieutenants repeating things that the left wing bomb throwers are tossing, then the answer is yes, absolutely. What they are doing is aiding and abetting the enemy. Why do people act surprised when a jerk like Chavez disrespects the President - he's just been taking notes by watching the Kerry's, Kennedy's, Pelosi's, etc. The past practice of not critiquing the Presidents war policies when troops are in the field is sadly gone. It started during Vietnam, and starred one of the Presidents biggest detractors of late - John Kerry. The man makes me ill.

Amusing. Let's see - Bush and his cronies were wrong about Hussein being tied into 9/11 - even they have admitted that. But now they're yammering about how we can't leave Iraq because it has become a terrorist breeding ground. Strange that they can't quite get to saying why, but I don't mind doing so. They went in there, without a viable plan for the reconstruction and have failed so miserably that they themselves have left Iraq open for terrorists to train and occupy. But let's not mention that - let's just keep trying to tie Iraq and the terrorists together - maybe the real dummies will go back to thinking that was always the case. No matter that they made it possible themselves for terrorists to gather there.

When an administration is as incompetant and dangerous as our current one, we have the duty as Americans to speak up and demand explanation and change. Of course we all want our troops home, except Georgy Boy. My favorite moment of his in the last two weeks was his power-hungry cowboy smirking attitude when he spit out the words "As long as I'M the President we're staying in Iraq." Gee - guess if someone comes up with a viable plan to get out of there, he'll just tell them to shut their pie hole. He's the King after all right? We're just his loyal subjects. Oh wait, that's not the United States. Damn, someone should remind our little Hitler of that fact once in a while.

You generalize and stereotype excessively. If the Bush administration committed an international crime by invading and occupying a sovereign country which was NOT an imminent threat, why would they deserve our support? While we are obliged to be loyal to our country, loyalty to a political leader must be earned. This is on top of the intentional intelligence fabrications the Bush admin used to create adequate fear to convince enough people to agree to the invasion. As a result of this astronomical crime, 30,000-100,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed as bystanders by us and the terrorists who arrived after we did. This is a number many-fold that of 9/11, which Iraq had nothing to do with. In face of these facts, how much sense does your logic make. And what does Chavez have to do with liberals?

It's YOUR President who has emboldened the terrorists.

The war itself devastates me but BUT unlike many, I do not think bringing them home now is the answer. I do not SUPPORT yet I do not openly protest it. I do protest questions like yours and I do openly protest the DFI Bush but this was before he started the war.

My support goes out to the troops loosing their lives over there. I lost a high school friend just last year in a Hummer rollover in Kirkuik ans still grieve

Simple answer is no. Certainly not anymore than conservatives bashing of the Clinton Administration for 8 years strengthed our enemies.

I disagree with the Administration with regard to Iraq, probably as much as you agree with it.

And that's ok .

Simple answer: you agree with the policies and I don't. The fact that you agree with them means nada to me.

So the alternative to debate is the end of free speech. China would be proud of you.

Honestly, yes just like the German propagandist of WWII

I agree with you. It has emboldened them.
Answerman thinks that alternate free speech is what the liberals are practicing, but its not. He claims that what they are doing is debate, but its not. Name calling and finger pointing is NOT DEBATE!!!
Offering alternative solutions would be a good start for the liberals. The time for DEBATE has passed. That time passed when Congress agreed to send troops over there. DEBATE time is over. Answer time is upon us. NAME CALLING is for third grade. Grow up, and look around you. Three thousand of your fellow citizens have been slaughtered, fried, crushed. Hundreds of others have been murdered in the past twenty years. If we don't finish the task, millions of us, possibly including your loved ones will be slaughtered. Don't you see what they are doing to each other in Iraq. They aren't targeting military targets. They are targeting their own people. Wake up AMERICA!!!!!!!
