im having my period for 9+ days and its on my nerves.am i alone?

the type of pill im on is called Desogen.I got the birth control at planned parenthood and they recommended this one for me.

Used to not have it for 3-4 months, then got it for 6 weeks straight! You think it's on your nerves after 9 days?
Really, if it goes on much longer, call the Dr., they can give you something to stop it. If it happens every month then they might give you some other options to control it.

Are you on that birth control where u just have a period 4 times out of a year? I heard that pill makes u do that. Are u on any birth control at at?

no your not iv had periods that last up to A MONTH long then i didnt have one for 2months and no im not on birth controll i asked my doc she says its normal to have an abnormal period

No you are not alone. It could be the bith control, hormonal changes in the body, stress, menopause...I sometimes go for 2 weeks, sometimes their isn't one at all...God Bless us menstrating women!

well my first period and every so often lasts around ten days so its perfectly ok, dont worry but if you are taking pills that play with hormones then i really dont know
