I have a hefty english assignment and I need to choose a song to work with from one of my favorite bands. My two favorite bands are Barlow Girl and The Beatles.

The only requirments for the song are that there can't be any swear words or sexualized meanings in them which isn't a worry with Barlow Girl but is for a few Beatles songs.

Any opinions?

"Taxman" is very well written...the most well-written Beatles song..if you ask me...or
"The Long And Winding Road". Best of luck! :D

Beatles:

Yesterday
When I'm Sixty-Four
Eleanor Rigby (sp? Elinor?)
SIlly Love Songs
She Loves You
Fool On The Hill
Yellow Submarine
Here Comes The Sun

If they can be love songs (not sure what you mean by "sexualized"):

Michelle
Send All My Loving To You

Hmmm...
I would go with the Beatle's Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds....which, has a lot of write up's about it's meaning (said to have been written under the influence of halucinagetic drugs)...which, can be compared to a lot of things that are now back strong amoung youth within our society today- oxy, xanex, meth etc...
You could go that route...

Barlow Girl is good so anything by them would be fine. But if your willing to stray away from them, definatly go with anything by David Crowder Band. All of his lyrics are great.
