Nothing is out of line for a menopausal woman. Anyone with brains just backs off and says nothing

Yes, absolutely, and it goes away in a mere 3 years or so. Some women report much relief for this by using some of the newer antidepressant medications, even at a low does. Hysterectomy helped speed things up for me, though. And the tantrums used to set of hot flashes, so much fun!
Two things set off a hot flash in me now: eating the evening meal, and getting irritated at something. It is amazing how you can actually modulate your life and reactions so as to avoid getting irritated, but so far, I have not managed to find out how to avoid eating. I do tend to graze, eat salads and things, but a big heavy meal, get out the fan!
Exercise helps a lot also. It wasn't until I started exercising almost every morning, first thing I ride my bicycle three miles or so, that I noticed a difference before the surgery.
This too shall pass, but it seemed like an eternity at times.
What this DOES do is give you an inkling of the hormonal changes going on at puberty once again. As I recall, that was none too fun, either.

While it is common for people to experience that sort of behavior, you should seek professional advice. Your body is undergoing great changes in the hormone levels and we can alleviate the stress and make your life more comfortable to you and your family. Menopause lasts from months to even a few years before the body completely adjusts. It is a very stressful time both physically and emotionally. However many races of people seem not to be affected as badly as white people, perhaps it is just acceptance of the change in their lives, or perhaps white people are ingrained with the idea that menopause is very traumatic. But this is also true with childbirth . Are we a more delicate race, or have we been taught to believe we are more delicate and suffer more? A visit to your physician is in order, and you should also begin a regular program of increased calcium intake to prevent osteoporosis...ask your physician. While I am a physician, your family doctor has the advantage of knowing your condition far better than me.

I have heard and seen many women doing this, it is because your hormones are so out of whack. There isn't much you can do about this, I wouldn't recommend hormone therapy so far all they have to offer in that area causes more problems than what you had to begin with, as with most other medications. Try to realize you are behaving like this and remind yourself that you are an adult and you can cope with the situation...try to remember how you feel at the point right before you explode and use it as a target point to let you know when you have had enough and just need a mental break from whatever. Good luck I hope you feel better!

It's NEVER okay to make a fool of yourself, no matter what the excuse is. I am going through menopause myself. When I feel out of control I go off by myself and deal with it in private. There are medications you can take to help control the out of control anger.

What would you do to a two year old who threw the fit. would it be okay since the child is 2, no, children must learn to control themselves like adults should already be able to do. You need to get a hold of yourself, go to a doctor. If you feel these coming on, walk away or just concentrate on not doing it. Think how you look at kids throwing fits or what you did to your own, if you spanked them or grounded them, or put them in time-out to calm down. You are NOT two. I am not being mean just truthful

I guess its ok once in a while. As for breaking dishes, there's a place in Japan or the Philippines that allows you to break alot of things to express yourself which relives you of stress.
You should control yourself though especially if your infront of your kids. Peace :)

I've noticed some women have a harder time than others. Go to a doctor, get some treatment!

It's probably what you feel like doing, but it's also probably an indication that you need to talk to your doctor about some hormonal help.
