both

if you have a big rock sitting there, it is hard to move because it has great inertia

lots of force required to accelerate it (this is true even if there is no gravity, because there is still mass and inertia) so, a big rock sitting there has lots of inertia making it very hard to get it rolling fast

if a vig rock is already rolling fast, it has lots of inertia too, and it takes lots of force to stop it or turn it

if you stand in the way of a huge rolling rock you will be smashed

inertia

you gotta love it

Hi. ALL objects are in motion. If other objects are traveling at the same velocity it takes force to speed them or slow one of them relative to the other objects.

Both.....if an object is moving it will continue to move unless altered by a force....i.e. gravity.

An object at rest remains at rest unless exerted upon.
