Sometimes I fell like I am the only one who is happy with my marriage. I mean we have our little arguments, but we are in it for long haul..............(life)

there is so much history with my wife and her past as far as adversity and overcoming challenges usually considerd to much for most people. as i see people breaking down or falling apart in comparison to the silliest things. for all that she has been through in her life, i love her incredibly. i entered her life as i thought i could be a shining star in her life as the preverbial knight in shining armour, i didnt feel sorry for my wife and the past it was more admiration for her accomplishments and the ability to survive. so when i entered the picture i thought of myself as a possible (savior) (not being sacreligious) we have been together over three years and married for just over a 11/2 and through this time i realized my wife was put on this earth as a blessing to so many people and has effected so many people, every one that meets my wife has the same take on her she is a true jewle unequaled by most, people seem unable to refuse talking to her as once your in her presence you words are so relaxed and flow from your mouth like poetry becuase her being near you feel at ease as if your in the company of somone you know you can count on and befriend with ease.loving her in the beging and to this point and what looks life the rest of my life has always been easy so easy you almost become affraid you cant compete tomorrow with what you feel today, but somhow the next day comes and seeing her face, feeling her touch you realize that yesterday's thought was foolish and you wonder how you can top the feeling the next day.i have plenty more fualts then my wife should be able to handle as should any wife ever have to endure, and although my fualts are nothing like cheating or alchahol or drugs. i am inspired each day to at least try a little harder to make her proud of me. when i am down i know for a fact she is there. when she is mad at me i dont doubt her she loves me, when i mad she fixes things.she is a nut in the best of ways, she mirrors me in every way, she is my rock. she is the only reason why i am happy from day to day and aspire to be happy when im 80. she jokingly suggest she should be anointed sainthood for having to put up with me, but in reality its not as much a joke as its a fact. she is an awsome mother ,step mother and wife of a household that totals 7 of us (5kids) she is this great sister and daughter to her biological family and as comment and compliments abound she has become the most loved inlaw in my family. only the lord knows where we go from here but no matter where or what she and i do the lord blessed me with knowing her and life will never be long enough to truely enjoy a rare unique truly loving lovable consent person as my bride.

for those who are curiouse my bride comes in to "answers" as sxybrwneyedgrl. if you get a chance to meet her you'll understand what i mean when i say thank you lord as you have blessed me with the closes thing to perfection on earth possible

I have never been more happier in my life... My husband and I have been dating for 9 years before we got married. Now we are almost a year married and never really had any big arguments.. We may have small misunderstanding because of what we were use to doing in the house but that was all we really argued about. I can always see myself with him for as long as we both will live. And also I guess because we compliment each other so well thats why we are both happy and contended!

Well, unfortunately this little sub group on yahoo answers is both marriage AND divorce. It seems that those of us who are divorcing have bigger mouths... I am very happy for you that you have a great relationship but a lot of us don't... Currently I am getting a divorce, so I understand the depressing questions it is hard! It is nice to be able to talk to people who have gone through the same thing. For the record, I am really happy to be divorcing, I love my soon to be ex- husband very much but if I have to live with him any longer I might kill him! Anyway to answer your question, no... I guess not.

I was happy too during my marriage until things didn't feel right and my world came crashing to an end (divorce). I cry almost everynight for the loss of happiness and love. When you are hurting it helps to seek solice in others and know that you aren't the only one. I hope you have many more years filled with happiness!

Darling, the grass is always greener on the other side. Those who accept committed relationships with closed eyes or deaf ears are the unhappy ones. Those who talk to each other and accept each other and are realistic about living together and life's trials and tribulations work out. A cliche perhaps, but it's true. All that I learned in my past relationships I have applied to my current and we are happy.

I am extremely happy in my relationship. Try reading The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands by Dr. Laura. It is a good book that teaches you how to be a better wife.

Good luck!

Yes, we have been together for a total of 12 years, but happily married for 8 years. We have our share of problems, just like anybody else, but as a couple/family, we work out our problems. In our household, we have this rule where, if there is a problem, we try to resolve it, so that it doesn't lead into the next day, but if it does, we try our best, to work as a team, to get it resolved, so far, we've been able to resolve our problems, before the next day.

I am and I hope WE are lol. 15 years now and yes we do have our fair share of spats. I think that what people forget is that no matter who who live with even if its just a friend that you share a place with....two people CANNOT live together WITHOUT having some disagreements. Its how you handle them that make the difference.
